I have been an Ecco fan for years, so I come to expect the ruggedness and quality of their shoes to be a given.
The best part of Ecco boots is that they are waterproof. Yes, waterproof.
You really have to wear them out before they start to allow water to enter. I generally own 2-3 pairs so that they get rotated during the week and have a chance to dry out before I use them again.
My only gripe with Ecco is that they seem to be phasing out their workboots in favor of more casual wear. If any one in the company is reading this: Please don’t discontinue Ecco work boots. They are the best for light-medium duty work that landscapers and gardeners, like me, perform. No other company makes a boot that fits my needs or my foot like Ecco does.
